In the most recent evaluation, 100% of surveyed parents reported positive changes in their children’s behavior after enrollment crediting GRYD family meetings, staff interactions, and program activities. Analysis of a sample of recent YSET-ETO data showed that the client group entered GRYD with a combined total of 114 elevated risk factors. After one full program cycle, the same youth were reassessed (YSET 2); 3 total risk factors had declined to 63 or by 55%. A recent sample of Protective Factor Survey data shows that youth enrolled for 5-24 months demonstrated a 96% improvement in overall Resilience (coping skills and functioning, sense of competency managing challenges, optimism and persistence) and a 69% increase in Social Emotional Competence.
