If your stock has appreciated, there are no capital gains taxes to pay!

Let your broker know you are doing a “transfer in kind” and fill out our Stock Donation form, or give us a call at (818) 830-3646.

If you are 70 ½ or older, and have a traditional IRA, you can transfer up to $100,000 per year to charitable organizations.

Because your donation (up to $100,000) is not counted as income, you will not incur income taxes on this portion of your withdrawal.

An IRA charitable contribution counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution.
