EVENT RECAP

Celebrating 100 Years of Impact

We were honored to gather with over 400 supporters last Saturday night for our Centennial Gala, where we marked 100 years of impact and looked toward our next century of service. The evening was filled with celebration, reflection, and renewed hope for our city’s future.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $500,000—111% of our goal—ensuring that youth and families continue to have the resources they need not just to survive but to thrive.

Special thanks to our Gala Co-Chairs, Laurie Spivak and Lucy Zepp, and to the entire Centennial Gala Committee for their leadership and generosity, and, of course, to all the members of our Board of Directors who attended or supported. We are also deeply grateful to our Century Circle Sponsor, Bank of America, and Legacy Builder Sponsors, APG and Kaiser Permanente, for their incredible partnerships.

As we look ahead, your support allows us to fortify core services, enhance mental health service, and strengthen career & life readiness programming, so every Angeleno can emerge stronger, no matter the challenges ahead.

BUILDING THE FUTURE

EMERGE STRONG:  About the Centennial Campaign

The Centennial Gala is the headlining event of El Nido’s Centennial Campaign-a bold initiative to honor our legacy and expand our impact for generations to come. At this pivotal moment in our city’s history, your support matters more than ever. The Centennial Campaign is a three-year initiative (2025–2027) with a goal of raising $6 million to sustain and scale our work. Funds will directly support:

Fortify Core
Services

Expand programs that stabilize families in crisis and meet urgent community needs.

Strengthen Career and Life Readiness Programming

Provide youth and parents with tools to pursue living-wage careers and academic success.

Expand Mental Health Services

Deepen access to culturally responsive mental health care across Los Angeles.
