Alumni Committee Member
Evelyn Batres is currently the Academic Support/Alumni Liaison and Case Manager at El Nido’s Pacoima Family Source center. She provides low-income families with intensive case management services, assists in coordinating El Nido’s scholarship program and provides youth with academic guidance and support. As an alum and former scholarship recipient, Evelyn knows how impactful these programs are for Pacoima and other disadvantaged communities who would otherwise not have access to the resources offered.
Her future plans include pursuing a graduate school degree that will further her continued effort to make a difference among her community as a school counselor. Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from University of California, Los Angeles.
