Scholarship Program
Every spring, El Nido Family Centers recognizes the achievements of a number of our college-bound clients by awarding them with scholarships. Since 1992, the scholarship program has awarded financial assistance to over 612 current and former clients pursuing advanced education degrees. It is gratifying to invest in these young people who are dedicated to improving their lives, the lives of their families, and their communities.

Many of these youth grew up in environments with no academic role models. Some are teen parents with extra responsibilities. Despite very challenging life circumstances, they have maintained excellent grades and have never lost sight of their goal to become a college graduate.
Additionally, El Nido Family Centers’ Alumni Association and College Corner guide our students during high school and the transition to college and will continue to be there for them during their college years.

El Nido was there every step of the way. And maybe that’s why, even though I didn’t make as many friends in college, I never truly felt alone. I’m proud to say I finished my college degree and going on to higher grounds.
