Research shows that helping our students create a flexible structure around learning is not a bad idea. Below, you will find a list of free resources to support student learning during school closures.
With school closures, organizations and communities are rallying together to provide meals to those in most need. Below, is a list of resources to support your child’s nutrition.
Los Angeles
40 LAUSD Family Center Sites and 20 grab-and-go meal sites throughout Los Angeles starting Wednesday 3/18 (List is TBD)
South Los Angeles
Free Lunch: Alliance Virgil Roberts Leadership Academy for ANYONE 18 and under from 8AM-12PM (3/16-3/27)
Free Lunch: Alliance Kory Hunter Middle School Monday-Friday 8AM-12PM
Free Groceries: St. Margaret’s Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays for 90045 & 90047. Call (310) 672-2208 to put your name on the list.
Free Meal: Carvery Kitchen, child must present and under 18 and present. 8AM – 7PM.
San Fernando Valley – LAUSD Family Resource Centers starting 3/18 from 6AM-6PM
Byrd Middle School – Sun Valley
East Valley High School – North Hollywood
San Fernando High School – San Fernando/Sylmar
Verdugo Hills High School – Sunland/Tujunga
Azusa Children 18 and under can pick up meals on Mondays & Wednesdays
