Major Responsibilities: The Office Coordinator provides administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the program directors and supervisors and ensures the Family Source Center South L.A. office runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties include answering telephone in a timely fashion, respond to questions about program services from referral sources, connects prospective clients with appropriate staff members, schedules, confirms and cancels client appointments, ensures office is opened and closed in a timely manner, greet visitors, attends to office-related tasks outside the office, maintains office petty cash, provides guidance and oversight to the volunteers, youth and staff who work on the food pantry onsite, prepare and type a variety of correspondence, forms, reports and other similar documentation, oversees incoming mail, maintains office equipment and logs, attends all staff and agency wide meetings as required, serves as a liaison with building owner to maintain the building up to standards and with other facility vendors, perform other job-related duties assigned by Supervisor.
Position Requirements: High school graduate or its equivalent. At least two years of office experience providing clerical and administrative support. Must be able work with diverse populations. Bilingual/Spanish required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be available to work on site.
