Major Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the development, implementation and smooth operation of the financial/fiscal functions at El Nido, a 16 million dollar non-profit social service agency.  These functions include: accounting and finance; banking relationships; insurance/risk management; office operations including major equipment purchases; space negotiations and facilities management of multiple office sites; interfaces with IT consultants to manage information and communications systems; participates as a member of the executive management team to plan and develop agency wide policies and acts as liaison to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.

Position Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a proven knowledge of general accounting/finance with a minimum of five years’ experience in a managerial finance/accounting position and a formal education in accounting (CPA or MBA is preferred).

Job experience should include non-profit financial management with multiple government social services contracts; financial analysis, purchasing, facilities procurement and management, and office systems and procedures; demonstrated managerial skills sufficient to manage four or more employees; skill writing policies and procedures; PC skills including accounting spreadsheets; strong organizational skills; and very effective oral and written communication skills.
