Chief Financial Officer


Major Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the development, implementation and smooth operation of the financial/ fiscal and operational functions at El Nido Family Centers, an $11 million social service nonprofit organization. These functions include: finance and accounting; contract fiscal management and investments; banking relationships; insurance/ risk management; IT systems planning and management; lease negotiations and facilities management of multiple office sites; office operations including major equipment purchases. Participates as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, the executive management team, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.

Position Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a proven expertise in accounting/finance with a minimum of five years’ experience in a managerial finance/accounting management position and a formal education in finance/ accounting (CPA or MBA is preferred). Job experience should include nonprofit financial management with multiple government social services contracts; financial analysis, purchasing, facilities procurement and management, IT and office systems, security, and procedures; demonstrated managerial skills sufficient to manage several employees; skill writing policies and procedures; expertise in accounting/ financial software and spreadsheets; strong organizational skills; and very effective oral and written communication skills; collaborative, servant leader.
